Associate Strategy Director is a unique position spanning brand strategy, digital, content and broader marketing. The Associate Strategy Director is adept at crafting brand strategies, writing comms plans and consulting on social/digital best practice. An integrated strategist to further bolster Camron’s creative and strategic offering.

Whilst the only ‘strategist’ in the New York office, the Associate Strategy Director is very much a part of the global strategy team. Through weekly team meetings, regular check-ins and training/learning opportunities with the Global Head of Strategy, ongoing Slack and Zoom collaborations, and daily interactions with the other Associate Strategy Director in London, we see this role as truly global and collaborative.

You will be expected to hone your brand strategy, communications, and marketing craft reporting into Camron’s Global Head of Strategy, based in London. Meanwhile, the candidate will work closely and collaboratively with the comms team in the New York Office.

This role offers real breadth; working with leading luxury hospitality groups on brand campaigns, boutique scale-ups on growth plans, global architects on brand strategy and premium consumer brands on integrated creative output and social media. A mixture of local and global. B2C and B2B.

Whilst there are set, retained clients and projects to be working on - some independently in NYC, some globally with London - the right candidate will also be helping to grow our brand and strategy offering in North America through pitching and new business efforts.

As part of the new business effort, you will be supporting on large scale global pitches and running smaller ones of your own with the comms team in NYC, too.

  • Leading on U.S. based New Business pitches; writing pitch decks and presenting to clients
  • Supporting the global team on high-profile, large-scale pitches
  • Upskilling and supporting other members of the team in strategic processes

Experience & Skills:

  • 7+ years experience; already mastering the craft of brand strategy, whilst learning more of the leadership and commercial aspects of agency directorship
  • Integrated Agency Experience
  • Confident, capable and trained in Brand Strategy, Comms Planning and Creative Briefing
  • A strong presenter; able to tell stories through presentations and engage a room of clients
  • Great at moderating and engaging a workshop
  • Adept in research and insight mining, leading to greater, more impactful work
  • Competent in demonstrating effectiveness

  • Ideal: Luxury and/or Premium Brand experience (even better if in the design space).
